VOlunteer opportunities
Do you love horses? Do you want to help the deserving animals that do so much to make Lexington, KY an idyllic place to live?
If so, come to the Secretariat Center located at the Kentucky Horse park in the "Horse Capital of the World." At the Center, former racehorses are given the care and training they need to move on to new careers and loving homes. Come help them make this transition! We welcome volunteers of all ages, with or without equine experience.
If you would like to volunteer your time, fill out our volunteer form and submit it online. Volunteer opportunities include assisting in the office, barn chores, basic horse handling, and with facility maintenance. Volunteer times are 8-4pm Monday through Saturday.
*NOTE: All individuals MUST have proof of current health insurance in order to volunteer at the Center.
