Top of the Mark, known around the barn as Topper, is a 5-year-old gelding who is a pleasure to have in the barn. He has a laid-back, “chill” personality, is as kind and easygoing as they come, and so safe and steady! Topper loves attention, enjoys being groomed, and is always willing to go along with whatever is asked of him.

From the start, Topper has proven to be very straightforward and safe under saddle. He had his first ride just one day after arriving and went around as if he already knew the routine. He is a steady, uncomplicated ride with a natural lead change and a willing, reliable attitude which makes him suitable for a wide range of riders.

Topper got shoes on this week and is feeling great! We have taken him on hacks all around the property, and most recently jumped him under saddle, and he goes around like he has been doing this his whole life. Has 3 comfortable gaits, and a very natural rhythm. With his easygoing nature and versatility, Topper would make an excellent all-around partner! Whether you are looking for a dependable partner for everyday riding or a horse to take to the show ring, Topper is the gelding for you.

Topper is RRP eligible. His last workout was 12/28/2025.
