Wickham is unraced, trained by McPeek Racing, and his owners thought he showed little talent for racing.

Wickham is quiet, sweet, and a very in-your-pocket type of horse in the barn and turnout. He loves a good nap in the sun! Wickham has the movement, conformation, and disposition to be successful in any discipline. He is a growing boy and will, without a doubt, get taller and wider. He is very green but is balanced, soft in the bridle, learning to steer with the leg and hand, and is respectful of the aids. Wickham is not strong or quick, although he is green; he has never done anything naughty. Wickham does best being ridden outside in the fields and on hacks. This makes us think he will be a great foxhunter or event horse! Wickham can be stubborn in the arena, but he is just a young, green horse learning the ropes of his new career.

His is shod up-front, and is on night turnout with a group. He has no vices and happily stands for the vet, farrier, as well as on crossties. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, dental, and chiropractic care.
