Mugsy, affectionately known as Churro in the barn, is an unraced 4-year-old by Mucho Macho Man out of Bye Bye Bully’s, standing approximately 16 hands. He is as sweet as they come and truly earns his “teddy bear” reputation. Mugsy loves attention, enjoys being groomed, and is a pleasure to have in the barn. He is an easy keeper in his stall, is currently shod up front, is up to date on dental, vet, and chiro work, and can be turned out with mares or geldings. Right now, he is currently turned out with a group of geldings.

Mugsy would love life as a trail/competitive trail horse, a companion horse, or even a fox hunter! He happily hacks all around the property, loves to work in the field, and confidently navigates a variety of obstacles, including poles, tarps and ditches. His quiet, kind demeanor and willingness make him a joy to handle and work with.

With continued strengthening and training, Mugsy may develop into a more competitive riding horse. However, given his personality, clear enjoyment of hacking out and exploring, we believe he would truly thrive in a trail-oriented home, as a well-loved companion or a fox hunter. His training will continue, with an emphasis on building strength and exposure to additional trail-style obstacles.

Most recently, Mugsy went to Masterson Station, where he was so relaxed the whole time. He loaded and trailered great, unloaded and was easy to be tacked, and rode around the whole facility like he had been there many times before. He tackled logs, ditches, up and down banks, and water with ease! There were other horses hacking and jumping all around him, and he was not phased at all. This horse LOVES an adventure!
