“Dooley” raced 14 times and won over $100,000. He last raced on April 25th, 2024. His racing connections wanted to give him some downtime before rehoming him for a second career, so he has been living turned out since his last race.

Since retiring, Dooley has enjoyed turnout in a herd of geldings. Dooley is an in-your-pocket, affectionate horse who truly loves to be loved. He is willing and game for anything he is asked and takes everything in stride. He is cool as a cucumber, which will allow him to excel in any discipline.

Dooley is respectful in the pasture, easy to catch and lead, and a gentleman with both people and other horses. Under saddle, he is steady in the bridle and very straightforward to ride. Despite being green, he’s never been naughty—he simply needs continued strength-building.

Dooley is an easy keeper with no vices. He wears 4 shoes, and on night turnout. He quietly stands for the vet, farrier, and on crossties. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, and chiropractic care.
