“Zippy” ran a total of 14 times before being retired sound from the track, even winning a race!
Zippy has been lightly restarted on the flat and over small fences. She has been nothing but a joy to have in the farm. She approaches all new tasks with a willing attitude and enjoys hacking around the farm, alone or with a buddy. Zippy is one of the most fearless horses on the property and has endless potential to go in any direction, this is your three ring or event hony!
Zippy would be suitable for an advanced beginner/intermediate rider. She has loads of talent and potential to offer those who prefer a smaller mount. This pint-sized, dainty mare loves to work and is extremely sweet on the ground.
Zippy is currently turned out with the Secretariat Center’s miniature ponies but is also happy in a stall. She has no vices and happily stands for the vet and farrier. She has not yet mastered crossties if left unsupervised but improves each time and single ties with no issues.
Zippy had a pre-purchase exam done September 2023 and was found to have 3 chips in her right stifle that have not caused her any lameness or limitations. Zippy was also found to have a healed small wing fracture in her left hind coffin bone.
