Liftoff Horseless Horse Show
Sunday, April 23, 2-5pm

Join the Maker’s Mark Secretariat Center (MMSC) in celebrating the ASPCA®  national Help A Horse Day with the Liftoff Horseless Horse Show and Fair!

The highlight of the event, the Horseless Horse Show, gives you the opportunity to imitate your favorite four-legged equine partner by jumping courses of human-sized jumps and obstacles! Participants of all ages are welcome. Do you have a rhythmic stride and even jump? The Working Hunter class is for you! Are you all about the speed? Enter a Grand Prix Jumpers class! Or maybe height is your forte? Take on the Puissance class and see how high you can go! For those vocally-inclined participants, enter the Whinny Contest and see how many equine heads you can turn!

Enjoy activities for the whole family including face painting, raffles, pony rides, traditional fair games, and more! Learn about retired racehorses in second careers by meeting the off-track Thoroughbreds excelling in a variety of disciplines at Liftoff Equestrian. Get up close and personal with a graduate of the MMSC’s adoption program in the kissing booth. Put your baking skills to the test by entering the Carrot Cake and Apple Pie Bake-off. Decorate and take home your very own lucky horseshoe, once worn by a racehorse at Keeneland. All proceeds from the event will benefit the adoptable off-track Thoroughbreds of the MMSC who are looking for new careers and loving homes.

Your attendance can help the MMSC win a grant from the ASPCA worth up to $25,000! This much-needed prize will enable the MMSC to continue retraining and rehoming efforts for off-track Thoroughbreds for years to come. If you can’t make it to this event but would like to support the MMSC and its adoptable Thoroughbred horses, please consider making a tax-deductible donation here: www.secretariatcenter.org/donate.
