MMSC Team Challenge

Have you ever wondered...

What happens to a racehorse when it steps off the track for the last time? Most Thoroughbreds have nowhere to go, no knowledge of anything other than racing, and nobody to take care of them. Yet, with rehab and a new foundation of skills, these athletic, versatile horses can excel in lots of equestrian sports. We at the MMSC are 100% "horse-centric," meaning every horse in our program gets everything it needs from the care and training right down to the person it goes home with. That's why the MMSC has been hailed as "The Gold Standard of Thoroughbred Reschooling." Yet this dedication to the horse and commitment to excellence comes with a price.

The MMSC's Team Challenge campaign will, with your help, raise $30K to give former racehorses all they need.

TCA Thoroughbred Makeover

Hundreds of off-track Thoroughbreds, each with 10 months or less of retraining. Three days of competition in 10 different disciplines, vying for a share of $100,000 in prize money. Thousands of spectators watching online and in person. And at the end, one overall winner, crowned America’s Most Wanted Thoroughbred.

Come visit the MMSC in person while you’re at the Makeover! Our facility is located at the Kentucky Horse Park and will be open all weekend, or you can stop by our booth at the Trade Fair in the Covered Arena - Booth #44.
